Get ready for a slam dunk of an evening on Sunday, September 8th, as we celebrate the Barossa Magic Basketball Club’s 2024 Winter season!

Let's celebrate the Barossa Magic Basketball Club’s 2024 winter season! With 19 teams, 149 players, and 30 coaches and managers, this is a season that’s too big not to celebrate.

Join us at 4pm at the Nuriootpa Sports Centre (Nuri Football Club) in Nuriootpa where the Magic Basketball Club together with the Barossa Valley Machinery Preservation Society will be firing up the BBQ with sausages, bread, and steak sandwiches, plus soft drinks (BYO alcohol).

Don’t forget to RSVP and place your food orders by 5 PM on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. Please bring chairs, picnic blanket and dress accordingly as this event will be held outside, weather permitting.

This time we decided that in order to assist with catering, that we would ask all families to please fill out an Attendance and Catering ticket.

Important Registration Update for Summer 24/25 Season

Hello Magic Families! The official Basketball Connect registration link for the Summer 24/25 season is now live!

This is the final step to secure your spot for the upcoming season. Please be aware that {Jotform expression of interest submissions} are now closed. If you submitted your "Intent to Play" via Jotform, you'll soon receive an email with the official Basketball Connect registration link. ( but you can also register via the link below even if you didn’t get around to doing the Jot form yet )

*Please Note:*

- The Basketball Connect registration MUST be completed to play for Barossa Magic this season.

- Registration includes the payment of fees.

- The deadline for registration is *Thursday, 12th September 2024, at 11:59 PM*.

- This registration link is valid for both Junior and Senior players.

Why the Quick Transition? We know, it’s a LOT of paperwork and everyone is busy. Here's why … We initially gathered interest through Jotforms. Now that the Association has opened the official Basketball Connect registration, we need all players to complete this next step swiftly. All clubs in the BVABA are required to submit team nominations by Sunday, 15th September 2024, so it's crucial we have accurate registration info to submit the right number of teams.

*Remember:* - You MUST be registered on Basketball Connect to attend Magic trials. - Trial Dates: Monday, 16th September, and Tuesday, 17th September 2024, at Redeemer Lutheran School Gym. Make sure to register before the deadline to ensure you're eligible for trials and to help us build the best teams possible for the season ahead!
